Really Rich? is the third and latest book in the Cindy and Wally Mystery series,  which takes place in Arizona.  In this book, both Cindy the cat and Wally the labradoodle play parts, but Cindy is the star in this one. Also in Really Rich? characters Janet and Matt Turner from the Veronica Mysteries cross over to join Heather Burke and the Arizona characters in a new story. They bring with them a brand new character, their little son Tony.

In Really Rich? Janet receives an anonymous call just before traveling with her husband and son to Phoenix for a Thanksgiving visit with Heather and Matt’s family.  The caller tells her she has rich relatives in Arizona, so she is immediately excited, as she has never known her family. She loses no time enlisting the help of her friend Heather and Heather’s investigator boyfriend Andy to learn the origin of the call. The caller, however, has now disappeared, and it looks as if the woman’s employer, a sleezy PI has died in a questionable accident.

Undaunted, Janet continues her search in her usual intrepid manner, unknowingly disturbing a malevolent fortune hunter who has already murdered once for the riches in question and has more mayhem planned. Fortunately Cindy, the  prescient cat owned by Heather’s grandfather, is on the job, helping Janet and her the humans untangle a web of greed and murder before they become victims themselves.

Really Dead? is the first in the Cindy and Wally Mystery series.

Retired widower Sam Burke is shopping in Target when a woman approaches him and greets him like a long lost friend. Sam thinks she looks familiar, but he can’t place her. Later Sam remembers where he last saw the woman—in her casket years ago.

Meanwhile Sam’s granddaughter Katie is having an affair with Jason, a mild-mannered young man who is separated from his wife Lissa. Lissa disappears one day, leaving her house in a strange cluttered state, and her son with her sister. The police think Jason is an abuser and did away with Lissa, but there is no body, and no real evidence for what happened to her.

Two women, many years apart, unconnected, who are supposed to be dead—but are they really? Sam and his other granddaughter Heather enlist the aid of amateur investigator Andy Wade to help them find out. Soon it becomes clear that in each case, a death is more likely to come in the future than it was in the past. It is up to Sam’s prescient cat Cindy and Wally, Andy’s sociable labradoodle, to keep the humans in line as they track down potential murderers.

Really Over? is the second book in the Cindy and Wally Mystery series!

Kevin Healy is in a whole lot of trouble. There’s evidence he may have committed a violent crime, but  he can’t remember what happened. His mind is a blank, and  he’s afraid to pursue any clues for fear he will incriminate  himself. Enter  two ex-girlfriends, a reluctant amateur investigator, a friendly dog named Wally, and Cindy, the prescient cat. In their various ways, they offer help to Kevin, whether he wants it or not, and match their wits against a would-be killer simmering with an obsessive need for vengeance.
